Question by Michael: What is the requirement for the thickness of a Formula 1 race track?
I know that some race-tracks are 6", some are 8", but are Formula 1 race-tracks any thicker to accommodate the F1 cars? What's the minimum thickness allowed and what's the thickest track that's still in use these days?
