My opinion is that Ferrari, and not McLaren, are responsible for the over-politicized Stepney-gate controversy in F1. I will personally not purchase any Ferrari, Marlboro, or Formula 1 branded merchandise, and will instead support Vodaphone McLaren Mercedes brands whenever possible because of Ferrari's actions during the 2007 Formula 1 Championship.

I've seen the telemetry on tv showing them reaching nearly 300 kph. That works out to around 190 mph. I have to believe they are capable of going much faster than that since the F1 tracks don't generally have long straights.

I am new to Formula 1 races. F1 seems to be almost impossible to compete or win. Once a driver starts at the front, it is nearly a sure victory. Drivers starting from the back cannot have a chance. Why can't they start from the same line as in Olympic athletics. It is only 20 or so cars. Just widen the track and let the natural course take its place. Now it's too boring and predetermined.

Can a racer simply move to europe, join a race school, and then start their career in the formula ford series, or is it mandatory for them to have a background in go karting?

I moved from Canada to the USA a few years ago and I am appalled to see that this country has absolutely no coverage of formula 1 racing events, preferring nascar (wtf really) over the superior sport that is F1 racing. Anyway, I want to follow the season again but I cannot find any broadcaster or their schedule. Please help !

Hi. Im kinda new to the whole formula 1 scene so im lookin to get some info on it. I know cars and have recently gained a growing interest in the incredible machines that are F1 cars. Things im curious about are: When is Formula 1 season? Is Formula 1 broadcasted on any American networks? Who are the best drivers in Formula 1? What are the regulations on F1 cars?
